At Explore Meadows™, we strive to provide our customers with seamless travel experiences. Before you begin your adventure, it’s essential to review our Kashmir travel guidelines, which include important policies regarding hotels, transportation, sightseeing, and more.

1. Mobile Connectivity

Please note that prepaid SIM cards do not function in Jammu & Kashmir. Only postpaid SIM cards across all networks are operational.

2. Hotel Check-In Policies

Check-in time for most hotels is 14:00 hours. Early check-ins are subject to room availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
In case of non-availability at the specified hotel, we will arrange alternate accommodations in the same category, subject to prior discussion.

3. Transportation Guidelines

Visits to specific areas such as Aru, Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg may require local union-approved transport, which can be arranged on-site for additional charges.
During snowy weather, vehicles with snow chains are mandatory for travel to certain areas like Gulmarg. These can be hired locally.
Our designated cab will accompany you for the duration of the trip.

4. Sightseeing Restrictions

Local union rules restrict private or commercial vehicles from covering internal sightseeing in Sonamarg, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam. Travelers may need to hire local vehicles for such visits.

5. Payment Terms

To confirm your booking, a 30% advance payment is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least 10 days before your scheduled arrival.
Payments made via credit or debit cards will incur a 2% processing fee.
Bookings for 4-star and 5-star properties require full payment in advance.

6. Amendments and Cancellations

Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
Cancellation policies vary by booking and are communicated at the time of confirmation. Refunds will be processed as per the applicable policy.

7. Responsibility of Travelers During Kashmir Travel

Guests are expected to adhere to local laws and regulations. Any incidents involving theft, loss, injuries, or illegal activities, such as carrying banned substances, are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

8. Vehicle Breakdown Policy

In the rare event of a vehicle breakdown, alternate arrangements will be made, or repairs will be undertaken. Travelers are requested to remain patient during this time.

9. Weather and Regional Considerations

Travel plans may be affected by weather conditions or regional restrictions. Flexibility is key to ensuring safety and an enjoyable experience.

10. Sightseeing Tour Notes

Commercial and private vehicles are not permitted to cover all sightseeing areas due to local regulations.
Additional charges for sightseeing tours can be negotiated at the respective destinations.

11. General Travel Guidelines
